************* When talking to grandpa Remali in about 1965 or so, we asked him if his name was always spelled Remali, or yes, we took it from a family farm by that name. Upon futher research we found: John Remali (dad's grandfather) applied for his naturalization using the alias name Remo. Then when he came into the country he used the name Remahl, then later on he used the name Remaali then they finally settled on Remali. None of this was easy, because when John was going to sell his house and move into a rooming house, he didn't think any of the family would be interested in his "stuff" so he build a fire and dumped boxed of pictures, papers and all other momentos, and had a very large bond fire!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your dad and I got married and went up to the UP to visit him (6 months after he had had his bond fire)! We were sick. We would have bought his home and saved all of his stuff, but he was old and didn't think anyone would be interested, in his "old" stuff. **************
