Lynch enisted at Mt. Clemens, in Co. "B", 8th Regt. Mich. Cav. Lynchfamily notes name father of Nathaniel as Dr. John Lynch, of London, whopracticed medicine in London. Possibly connected to John B. Lynch, a doctorwho practiced medicine in London. John B. Lynch was born in Antigua, andmarried Lydia, and they resided in London, where he practiced medicine. They had 11 children. We know that they had a son Nathaniel. We know theyhad a son who went to America but the histories did not state the nameof the son. My Nathaniel reports in 1880 that his father was born in theWest Indies, and that his mother was born in England, which matches thefamily of John and Lydia of London.
