| Documentation: The Family Record above has been researched by me from family membersand various sources including the following: U.S. Census Records, Marriage Certificate of Arthur Raceand EmmaHunter, BirthCertificate of Laura Race-Tubbs, Death Certificate of ViolettaRace-Free, Birth Certificate ofArthur Eugene Race, and many others. Arthur and Emma died when the children were young so they were adoptedout. Wills and Tryphona Race were living with cousins in Newbold, WIin the 1920 Census and married in WI in the 1930 Census. Martha was living in aschool for dependant children in Coldwater,Michigan in 1920 and married in the 1930 census. Laura was adopted by the John A. Tubbs Family. Mabel was possibly adopted by the Sweets Family. George was living as a lodger for the Charles Taylor Family in Reeder,Michigan in the 1920 Census. I know he was overseas in WW2. Violetta was taken to the Jameson Farm along with her brother, George,and she was taken in by the Daniel A. Free Family in McBain, Michigan. Jessie was adopted by the Peter F. Olson Family in Missaukee County,Michigan. |
