Milan Leader:
The funeral of Philip Vealey, who died at his home in London Township
recently, was held May 23. He was 77 years old and was well known
hereabouts. Mrs. Wm. Whaley was a sister and Mrs. Dan Seeley and Mrs.
Bert Braman were his daughters and Ainsley Vealey a son. Other children
who survive him are Arden and Artes Vealey and Mrs. Clarissa Reed of
Ypsilanti.

Hi Jim, or should I say Cousin,
I am descended from Etta Vealey, the daughter of Philip and Adaline
Romig.
Your names are all the brothers and sisters of Philip Vealey, as Polly
Brenenstuhl married or lived with Philip? Becker, (son Andrew result).
I have them in Onondaga Co. 1830, then Polly in Deerfield,Lenewee Co. in
1843
with Becker, then marriage to John Whaley in 49. What I am missing is a
location for Polly and Jacob Vealey in 1840, or just one or the other.
I have the Romig branch all the way back if you would like. Easier to
send
hardcopy to address. There is a US Romig family reunion this summer if
you
are interested.
Timothy was the Uncle Timothy who played the violin. My Aunt Pearl just
loved
him. I could never find him. Never thought to look for Timothy Dennison.
They
lived near my grandparents in Ypsi. I was born in Ypsi, left at age 6
weeks.
