NOTES: Daniel's oldest child from 1st marriage: John Calvin (aka "Jack") McCarthy, b. May 06, 1856 (or May 06, 1857) in Manitowoc, WI married Carrie Violetta Colby on October 09, 1884 and raised their family in Home Twp., Montcalm Co., MI. These are my direct ancestors but would very like very much to make contact with other descendants.
Daniel's second child (and from 2nd marriage): Edmund McCarthy b. April 14, 1858 (or April 14, 1859) also in Manitowoc, WI and married Mary O'Brien. They raised their family in Merrill, Lakefield Twp., Saginaw Co., MI.
