Sources
Documentation: Since Josephine died so young, George Dewey Settlemier left the children with her mother, Olive Tormey and went back to Oregon never to see the children again. He went on to marry Velma Keiseaker having more children. Josephine's mother, Olive, along with her second husband, Gus Tormey, went on to raise the children as their own. Olive and Gus appeared on the 1930 census living at 39 DeSoto Ave in Detroit. I have no information as to what happen to Gus and Olive but have more information on the children of Everett and Eileen Tormey.
