PATRICIA 'TRICIA' EASTERWOOD, 50, formerly of East Jordan, died Monday, Nov. 29, 1999, at her home in Charlevoix.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today and 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc. in East Jordan. Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service Saturday at the funeral home.

George Elliott
Died December 26, 1999
TRAVERSE CITY - George Elliott, 90, died Sunday at Bortz Health Care of Traverse City.

Born July 8, 1909, in Leelanau County, he was the son of Michael and Mary (Kroupa) Elliott. On Dec. 9, 1940, in Traverse City, he married Zelma Rose Hart.

A farmer, George was a lifelong resident of Traverse City. He was also a foundry worker and was employed at Traverse City Iron Works for 20 years. George was a member of Elmwood Township Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Agnes Weller of Traverse City, a special friend, Mary Kevwithch of Traverse City, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

George was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Zelma; two brothers, Frank and William Elliott; and a sister, Jane Olson.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m.; the Rev. Bert Erickson will officiate. Burial will be in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Elmwood Township Fire Department.

Mildred Irene Endres
Died December 25, 1999
TRAVERSE CITY - Mildred Irene Endres, 83, died Saturday at Grand Traverse Pavilions.

Born March 7, 1916, in Westfield, Ind., she was the daughter of Willie and Gladys (Jessup) Stephenson. On Sept. 9, 1934, in Frankfort, she married Russell Endres.

A longtime resident of Traverse City, Mildred was a homemaker and a member of Inland Baptist Church. She had formerly been employed as a clerk at the Interlochen post office and as a sales clerk by W.T. Grant Co. Mildred and her husband enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include a daughter, Julia "Judy" (Walter "Bud") Ludka of Traverse City, a sister, Martha Anna Raney of Traverse City; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three nieces; and a nephew.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Russell, on Aug. 12, 1971.

Services will be held in the spring and will be announced by Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home of Traverse City which is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the Cherryland Humane Society.

JOSEPHINE MARIE EVERETT, 74, of Traverse City, died Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, at home.

Memorial services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hastings Funeral Home in Ellsworth. A full obituary will appear in Monday's Record-Eagle. The Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.

Josphine Marie Everett
Died December 3, 1999
TRAVERSE CITY - Josephine Marie Everett, 74, died Friday at her home in Traverse City.

Born March 20, 1925, in Saginaw, she was the daughter of Joseph and Hazel (Thornton) Lokinski. In 1945, in Memphis, Tenn., she married Mason H. Everett.

Josephine served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. A homemaker, in 1970 she moved from Milford to Traverse City. She was a former receptionist at the Traverse City Record-Eagle. She enjoyed bingo and working in her yard.

Survivors include two daughters, Jamie Reid of Mount Vernon, Ohio, and Janice Voice of Traverse City; two sons, Richard (Kathy) Everett of Waukesha, Wis., and David Everett of Worthington, Ohio; and three sisters, Florence Kapplinger of Saginaw, Dorothy Schramke of Livonia, and Marie (Jim) Ruyle of Farmington Hills.

Josephine was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hastings Funeral Home in Ellsworth; the Rev. Celia M. Hastings will officiate.

Burial will be in Ellsworth Cemetery.

The Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
