The Birdsall Funeral Home was located at 63 Jefferson Avenue SE in Grand Rapids, Michigan. There are seven volumes of records dating from August 22, 1912 through July 22, 1938. These volumes are available in the Michigan History/Special Collections on the third floor of the Grand Rapids Main Public Library. The first 80 pages of Volume One pertain to Muskegon, Michigan area death records. After that, there are mostly Grand Rapids and Kent County area death records. The record sheets in Volume One are less descriptive. For instance, there is no place for parents names as there are in Volumes Two through Seven. Where a woman's maiden name was found, there are two entries. |
