Taverns and Inns Along Kent County Michigan Stage Routes
From On the Michigan Stage by David and Marilyn Hanks Grand Rapid, Michigan; 1970

This is a small booklet about the taverns and inns along the stagecoach routes into Kent County. This booklet has pictures or sketches of the inns and brief histories (some very colorful) about these stops. There is also a map of the routes. Below is a list of the stops. This booklet is available at the Grand Rapids Library, 3rd Floor. By no means is this a full listing of all the stage coach stops that existed in Kent County at one time or another but does give an overall view. If you know of other ones, please send them along.
