John Hanson, age 83, died Wednesday at Butterworth Hospital. Surviving are 2 daughters Mrs. Bessie Armstrong of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Thomas Schrader of Casnovia; 2 sons Charles Hanson of Chicago and O.C. Johnson of Hollywood, Calif.  l3 or l5 grandchildren; l3 great  grandchildren; l sister, Mrs. Johanna Jepson of Ashtabula, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2.30 pm at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bessie Armstrong, 921 Second St.
Internment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Sparta, Mich.
