MISS E. L. MORRISEY, TEACHER, IS DEAD

After a short illness, Elizabeth L. Morrisey passed away Thursday morning at the home of her mother, Mrs. C. F. Morrisey, 856 Ionia avenue, S.

Miss Morrisey is well known in Grand Rapids where she has taught in the public schools for 25 years. She had been principal of Hall street school for 15 years.

Surviving her are three brothers, William Morrisey and Thomas Morrisey of this city, and John Morrisey of Denver, Colorado; and four sisters, Miss Katherine, Miss Lauretta and Miss Evangeline Morrisey of this city, and Mrs. Letitia Burnham of New York City.

Her death came like a shock to every one, especially the children of Hall street school. She was a beloved teacher and she will be missed for a long time to come.
