Obituary of Mrs. B. Joyce Oom - Grand Rapids Press, 8 Aug 1997

Mrs. B. Joyce Oom, aged 71, of Grand Rapids, died Friday, August 8, 1997 at the Home of Hope. Surviving are her husband of 15 years, Leonard Oom; son, Thomas Drew and Julie Campbell, and his children Zachery Campbell and Alisha and Edward Bilkovsky of Grand Rapids; her husband's children, Richard and Sharon Oom, Scott and Darlene Oom, Kirk, Matthew, Christopher, Ryand, Stephanie, all of Allendale, Craig Oom; Brett and Jacob, all of Byron Center; mother-in-law, Betty Oom; sisters-in-law, Dorine and Robert Derry, all of Orlando Park, IL, Christine and William Lindhout of Rockford; her special friend, Maxine Vroma.
In keeping with Mrs. Oom's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM Tuesday at the Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave., NE at Three Mile Rd. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, For those who wish, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Home of Hope, 1488 E. Beltline, SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506.
