Chester and Esther Scherer. The silver wedding anniversary of Chester and Esther (Zuverink) Scherer will be celebrated on Monday.  The couple of Caledonia are the parents of Charles Gardner, Rick and Su Gardner Robert and Teressa Scherer Jay and Judy Bussa, Norm and Connie Van Kampen, Scott and Sue Gardner, Time Gardner. They have 26 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
