I am looking for a relative's birth place, maiden name, and time and place of death. She was in the 1920 Grand Rapids census as Freda Schrader, 75 years old, 323 Franklin St. widow. She was from Mecklenburg Germany, immigrating in 1897 and naturalized in 1890 as Freda Conrad, from the name of her first husband. How do I go about this?

Horace Jakeway's (b. abt 1849) grandson, Kenneth Jakeway4 (Alphonso3, Horace2, James1), changed his name to "Kenneth Jacques" in 1940. One of Kenneth's children, Donald, had his name legally changed back to "Jakeway". Perhaps "Jacques" was the original spelling of the surname... In the 1850 Herkimer Co, NY census, James & Catherine's last name is spelled "Jaquays". Brian Jakeway, from England, has traced his Jakeway roots back to northern France, where the name was spelled "Jaques".
