The commission maintains an archive and History Room at the library.
They have an extensive collection of pictures, family and business memorabilia, local yearbooks, directories,
histories of Kent County; a large collection of plat maps, aerial maps and atlases; copies of the Advance and
other newspapers - some in print, some on film, and original tax records from 1848 on.
