Twenty-one years a resident of Kent county, Michigan whose place of birth was
Battlecreek, Michigan and whose occupation is that of a farmer and Ann B.
Bellfield also a white person aged seventeen years a resident of Kent
County, Michigan whose place of birth was Muskegon County, Michigan.
That before
said marriage I examined the said Frank Houttin (Hoatlin) on oath
administered by me touching the legality of their proposed marriage and that I
was satisfied from such examination that there was no legal impediment to the
same and that the said marriage took place in the presence of John Boyd
of Kent County, Michigan and Charles Houttin (Hoatlin) of Muskegon
