Little Mabel Knapp is down with the measles.

Mrs. Dailey is reported quite sice.

Mrs. B.F. Corey received the sad news a few days ago of the death of her mother, who resides in Ohio.

Mr. Ropwley is home for a brief visit with his family.

Miss Johnson and pupils are preparing to celebrate H.W. Longfellow's birthday on Feb. 27th.
 
November 12, 1936

Nels Hanson who teaches in Mecosta spent the weekend with his parents.

Mrs. Willis of Alma is visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. Willie VanAlstine.

Mr. and Mrs. August Abrahamsen spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Burnett at Big Rapids.

Alwilda and James VanAlstine of Lansing, returned home Sunday after spending the weekend with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Ed VamAlstine.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schroeder and baby with Mrs. G. Mehl and daughter of Big Rapids spent Sunday in Belding.

Mr. and Mrs. Van Wingerton visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. August Abrahemsen Tuesday and Wednesday.

Mrs. Burglund of Grand Rapids is visiting at the home of her brother Chas. Schroeder.

Mis. Bergy of Frankfort and Miss Hassels of Big Rapids were Sunday callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. VanAlstine.
