Sunday visitors at Edward Schoner's were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Williams and son Bobby and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Williams and baby pf Pontiac. Mrs. Mary Dufee and son Victor and Asa Schedel of Lansing, Mrs. Theodore Williams of Barryton. Warren Williams of Millbrook and Mrs. Lida Howard of Pine River.

Mr. and Mrs. Carr of Flint and Ruth Barta of Battle Creek spent Sunday at Joe Bartz.

Mrs. Ella Wendling of Grand Rapids has come to spend the summer at her home here. Mrs. Lena Bauman is staying with her.

Mrs. Kendall of Millbrook is spending a few days with Mrs. W.B. Howell.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wernette and family spent Sunday at Gowen with her people.

Sympathy from friends in this vicinity are extended to Mr. and Mrs. Art Nutt at Titus who lost one of their three0-month-old twin girls Saturday. The other twin is in poor health.

Ralph Lobert and family and Wm. Lobert of Lansing were weekend guests here. Ralph's little son Dale who has been going to school here for several weeks, returned home with them.

Phillip Wernette had the misfortune to lose a horse Sunday morning.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller went to Big Rapids Friday and from there to Grand Rapids returning Saturday.

Mrs. Hugh Worsley and daughter Ruth and Eugene Wendling of Detroit spent the weekend here.

Frank Snider and sone Clair of Detroit spend the weekend with his family.

Otto Skalitzky spent Friday and Saturday in Beal City.

Mrs. Gaylord Wernette entertained her brother, Harold Jarrett, of Flint over the weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Diehm spent Friday with their son, Henry Smith, in Broomfield.
