James Booth has started up his new mill.

Stickney's grist mill is crowded with business.

Fred Ingall's of Paris has lost another child, aged 3 years.

Mr. Geo. Lewis has sold his old farm on section 8 to Mr. Sanburn.

Mr. J. Perry, formerly of Barton, Newaygo county, has bought the James Parkill farm, 40 acres, paying $1,150 in cash.

W. D. Hopkinson is lengthening out his salary by keeping E. M. Stickney's books, devoting evenings and Saturday's to that work.

F. H. Graves of Paris returned to Grand Rapids Monday morning. He came home to attend the funeral of the little daughter of his brother-in-law, J. W. Fuller of Big Rapids.

Mr. and Mrs. James Besson are making a good farm on section 27. Mrs. Besson presented her husband with a choice New Years present - a girl weighing some less than a dozen pounds.
