Opera Block and Court House

This block was built by Hon. C.C. Fuller and L.H. Green in 1873, at a cost of about $30,000. It fronts 50 feet on Michigan avenue and 125 feet on Elm street, was built of white brick and is the most substantial brick block i the city. The county offices are located in the first and second stories, and the well arranged Opera Hall, in the third story, is also used for the sessions of the circuit court. C.D.
