At the residence of the bride's father, on Thursday morning, January 1, by Rev. L.E. Sikes, Mr. William D. Fuler, of Big Rapids and Miss Georgette, eldest daughter of John H. Standish, Esq., of Newaygo.

Accompanying the above was a nice loaf of cake, large enough and good enough to satisfy any poor typo in the land. May long life, lots of fun and success generally attend the newly married pair.

Mr. Perry is the gentelemanly proprietor of the Drug Store nearly opposite our office, and is fully competent to perform all duties pertaining to that business. How he will acquit himself in the new position he has assumed, time will determine. We certainly wish our young friend and his accomplished lady all the happiness possible for them to enjoy.

Some think it strange that "Steve" is really the head of a family, but we would like to know who has a better right than he, to assume the responsibilities of that important position. He is of "lawful age," square built and good looking, and we earnestly hope that all his efforts will be crowned with abundant success.
