FERRIS STUDENTS ADD TO CULTURE

Big Rapids like other college towns, is much more culturally diversified than other communities. The presence of Ferris Institute, College and University extends the community's relationship to arts and educationakl offerings and social attractions, as well.

Clockwise from top right some of the additional cultural activities include: FSU Homecoming parade and activities, the ice sculpture of past winter carnivals, the musical and other artistic offerings of the student body, including the Ferris Institute Band of 1910; and "pinhead" social activities similar to the apartment party, roof sit in 1897 and pharmacy spoof of earlier years.
