Charles Veeder

From Genesee County, Charles enlisted in Company G on August 24, 1861. He re-enlisted as a Corporal at Rappahannock Station, Va, on December 21, 1864. Was promoted to Sergeant and then comissioned as a 1st Lieutenant in Company E on May 8, 1865. He was mustered out of Federal service at Jeffersonville, Indiana, on July 8, 1865.
