Battery I, 1st Light Artillery

Elias enlisted at Adrian as a Corporal, August 19, 1862 for 3 years at age 29. He mustered out at Detroit on July 14, 1865.

This photo was taken between November of 1864 and June of 1865 on Lookout Moutain, Tennessee, while the Battery was on garrison duty in Chattanooga. All of the men appear to be members of Battery "I" and are named at the bottom of the photo.
