James Marshall Donnelly, a musician, enlisted for three months at Manchester on April 29, 1861, at the age of 24. He mustered in on May 1, 1861, and out on August 7, 1861. In 1864 he joined Company F of the 210th Pennsylvania Infantry serving from September 16, 1864, until May 30, 1865. He is buried in the Mattawana Cemetery, McVeytown, Pennsylvania.
