Levi Enlisted at Marshall, Michigan, for 3 years of service on September 8, 1864, at the age of 19. He reached the rank of Sergeant before he was Mustered out of the service at Raleigh, North Carolina, on June 5, 1866.He is buried at Bellevue Cemetery at Bellevue, Michigan.
