AI and Martha had 8 children: Claude (1866-1922) husband of Minnie Elizbeth Long; Julia Ann (1868-1939) wife of Charles E. Hubbs; Lena Edith (1870-1954) wife of Lewis Finley Mount; Lina Agnes (1870-1951) wife of Floraine C. Clark; Nellie Grant (1872-1940) wife of George Clarence Purdy; Pearl Elizabeth (1877-1953) wife of Harry Otis Lampson; William O. (1879-1939) husband of Adeline Florence Robinson; and Edna M. (1883-1905). He was a farmer.

Service AI Wyckoff enrolled as a private at the age of 20 in Ithaca, Tompkins County, NY on 6 Sep 1861 for 2 years. He was part of Company A, 32nd Regiment, New York Infantry. By December of 1861 he was a corporal. On 14 Jun 1862 he was promoted to Sergeant. His company was involved in much action but he spent time as a recruitment officer and was away from some of the fighting. AI mustered out 9 Jun 1863.
