I am searching for my husband's grandmother, Audrey Louise LOCKARD. She was born in White Cloud, Newaygo Co., MI on May 30, 1883. Her father was Edwin Douglas LOCKARD, mother Viola Eleanor DODDS. She married Edgar William KOON in 1898. They had 9 children: Irene Lulu; Cecil Mortimer; Earl; Edwin Thomas; Raymond Wallace; Viola Jane; Eugene Milton; Fredrick Richard; Vernon Oran.

I am a gr-gr-grandaughter of Ambsiah Tompkins whom I believe was the brother of Daniel D. Daniel (age 16) was living in Ambsiah's (age 24,) home, Newago Co. per 1860 census along with Caleb Tompkins (age 27), whom I believe was an older brother, Ambsiah's wife, Angeline Berry Tompkins and a son Charles (1yr). Ambsiah and Angeline has a second son Caleb Oscar Tompkins bn June 1861. Ambsiah was killed during the Civil War and Angeline died shortly after Caleb was born. The two boys Charles S. and Caleb O Tompkins were raised by Joseph and Sarah Berry of Newaygo Co. I am searching for information on descendents and ancesters of Daniel D. Tompkins b. July 17,1844 Wisc/Mich. d. July 22,1904 buried in the Ashland Cemetery, Newago County, Michigan. Daniel 1st. m. Harriet A. Berry June 15 1861; 2nd m. Sarah E. Munn October 4 1868. Death records for Daniel D. state that his father's name was also Daniel, (Could this be the same D.D. Tompkins living in Walker, Kent Co. per 1850 Census?) I am looking for some information on HUGH S. SWAN (Surveyor).He was born August 16, 1827 (place unknown). He married MARY ELIZABETH (unknown) on July 4, 1851. He died May 28, 1908. I have the records and newspaper clipping for a court ordered probate for one Cora Gertrude Swan (a minor). I also have the death notice for Cora's mother who died of childbirth in Toledo Ohio in 1881. Cora's mother was Gora Gertrude GOODRICH Swan and was only 19 tears old at the time of her death.
