Looking for information on Esther MATHER and her children: Anna , Richard, and Horace FERGUSON(variant spellings). Esther is shown on the 1870 and 1880 census in Ashland , Newaygo Co. as the wife of John W. MATHER. She was born c.1822 in Canada West and married first Samuel FERGUSON. In 1860 Samuel and Esther were in Walworth Co. WISC. They separated and perhaps divorced (no record yet found). In 1870 son Richard is living in the MATHER home, in 1880 Anna is with them. Horace is in another family as a laborer. Looking for Esther's death/burial place and fate of children. UItimately want to know where in Canada they came from

I am looking for inforation on Mary Kaste and Herman Kaste. The only information I have on them is a partial obituary for Mary Kaste. It reads: Mary KASTE 71, NEWAYGO Memorial at Gerber Memorial Hospital, Fremont. Born August 21, 1886 in the state of Bavaria in Germany. Coming to Chicago in 1907. Married in Chicago in 1915 to Herman Kaste and the couple moved here in 1920. Mrs Kaste leaves a husband; a son, Harry of Chicago; a daughter, Mrs. Lucy Obits of Newaygo; and three grandchildren: Frank, Bruce and Gloria Obits. Burial was in Newaygo Cemetery.
