DAMON SCHOOL


Damon School District was located in the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 8, Township 24 North, Range 2 East, Fairview Road, Foster Township, Ogemaw County, near the ghost town of Damon. No records exist on who donated the land, who built the school, who taught there or when the school closed. The property where the school was is now in private ownership. If you have any information concerning the Damon School, you are asked to contact the Ogemaw County Coordinator, Grace Dooley.
