LANE HEIGHTS SCHOOL


Lane Heights School was located in the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 24 North, Range 3 East, Rose Township, Ogemaw County, Michigan. This frame school was built in 1881. It was moved to the new town of Lupton in 1902. It was later replaced by LUPTON SCHOOL. If you have any information concerning the Lane Heights School, you are asked to contact the Ogemaw County Coordinator, Grace Dooley.

Most of the existing records have been compiled by The Rose City Area Historical Society, Post Office Box 736, Rose City, MI 48654
