First of Commencement Activities Will be Held Next Tuesday, Commencement Wednesday

   

St. Mary High School will graduate its first class of seniors next Wednesday evening at the auditorium, which is composed of Miss Sophia Kowalski, valedictorian, Raymond Mackowiak, Salutatorian, Miss Regina Gruszezynski, William Nowak, Stanley Amborski, and Louis Latusek.

The program will start at eight o'clock. Rev. R. Emmet Fitzpatrick, pastor of St. Mary church at Charlevoix, will give the commencement address. Rt. Rev. Monsignor S. Poganis will present the class with its diplomas.

Tuesday evening, June 11, at eight o'clock, the annual Musical program will be given by the St. Mary students at the auditorium. Besides the musical numbers there will be a short three act humorous comedy entitled, "Camouflage". Anyone who has attended these musicals of St. Mary know they have a treat in store, and of course everyone is asked to attend and support the young people.

In connection with the graduation of the senior class, the following eighth graders will receive their diplomas: Regina Borowiak, Rose C. Amborski, Helen M. Kwapis, Sophia R. Wojtkowiak, Joseph C. Skowronski, Magdalen C. Szocinski, Agatha C. Kondratowicz, Magdalen Wojtkowiak, Edward T. Joswiak, Clement J. Kwapis, John R. Matelski, Clement F. Skindziel.

Thursday, June 13, the school picnic will be held at the State Park.
