Roxanna A. Miller Robinson

Roxanna A. Miller was born in Pennsylvania, the daughter of Civil War veteran, Cyrus Miller, and his wife, Phoebe Ann. Roxanna married Civil War veteran, Oscar D. Robinson. Roxanna died on February 17, 1864, aged 21 years, 2 months and 10 days, according to her gravestone record, and is buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Lamont, Michigan. After the death of Roxanna Miller, Oscar Rebinson married her sister, Martha Miller.

According to the Civil War pension records of Wesley Miller, Oscar Robinson stated in 1891 that he knew Wesley Miller very well and that his wife, (Martha) now deceased, was a cousin of Wesley Miller and took care of Wesley in 1865, after Wesley came home from the war.

Elmwood Cemetery was restored and this gravestone was repaired by Henry and Loekie Boersma in 1995. Elmwood cemetery is now maintained by Tallmadge Township.
