BEACH (or VEACH), Charles S. and his brother Guy A. Their parents lived in St. Clair, St. Clair Co in 1874. They had an attorney write relatives in Texas looking for their sons. Any clue?

I have just located my roots, GULDENSTEIN in St. Clair county, township of China. Melvin C. GULDENSTEIN being my grandfather b.May 24, 1911 in Michigan. Herman GULDENSTEIN being my great grandfather b.June 1879 in Michigan. Fred GULDENSTEIN being my great great grandfather b. August 1844 in Prussia (Germany). There are many more details I would like to know. Particularly, since they were farmers, information on the Township of China, cemetary locations, address of vital statistics for that town, is there a historical society, etc....? I am looking to validate Fred Guldenstein's parents as possibly being Christian and Dora GULDENSTEIN.

I am searching for information about Cyrus PRINGLE and his wife Electra (LEISBROOK) who lived in Wales Twp., Ruby P.O., St. Clair Co., MI in 1860. Their children were: Sally Ann (or Sarah Ann) b. 1845 NY; Curthia b. 1850 MI; Edmund b. 1852 MI; Thaddeus b. 1854 MI, Harriet b. 1859 MI. Since Cyrus appeared in the 1850 Census for St. Clair Co., am assuming all of the younger children were born there also.

I'm looking for the date and place of death of Charles W. BLANCHARD b .Feb 22,1840 in Wayne Co. He moved to St. Clair Co. with his parents Norman b.1806,VT and Hannah HICKS b.?,place ?, when he was a young boy. He married Margaret LOW of St. Clair Co. in 1864. They had six children Nina E., Francis J. (my grandfather), Norman, Minnie, Alice & Gordon. Charles was a farmer,section 23 (T5N - R16E). Held the office of Town Clerk, and Justice of the Peace. A number of his family are buried in Hillside Cemetery, city of St. Clair including Margaret d. Feb.1884, (Minnie d.July 1939, Norman d.July 1939, auto accident), Gordon H. d.?, buried 28 Mar 1926. There is no record of death or burial of Charles W. I am wondering if he moved away and perhaps remarried or what?

I am looking for information on Samuel VANCE who was born in Durham Co., Ontario in 1852 to William VANCE and Elizabeth TAYLOR. He lived in Bosanquet Twp., Lambton Co., Ontario and newspaper record indicate that he was a judge in Port Huron, Mi. where he died in 1900. Is anyone related to him or know where he is buried? It certainly isn't in Lambton Co., Ontario.

My great grand parents came from VT to MI in the early 1800's. Both John SCOTT and his wife Artemissa FROST died in St. Clair County, Mi. yet I am unable to locate death records. If any one can help please contact me. Many of Artemissa's relatives were in the Berlin, MI area.

I am also looking for information on his father Simeon SHARRARD (b. abt 1840 in Canada). Moved to Mich. between 1865 and 1867. His wife was Sarah A. b.also about 1840 in Canada.

I am looking for any information on the LUCE family of Port Huron, particularly Jane C. LUCE who married Thomas S. DONAHUE (DONIHOO) 1853 in Port Huron. Jane was the daughter of Bartlett & Sarah Janes Luce, & the sister of Sarah, Mrs. D. B. Harrington. I have the biographical information from Andreas & Jenks, Jane's marriage record & record of her death in 1855; I am especially seeking a child of Jane & Thomas, born between 1853 & 1855 & possibly raised by her parents or sisters. This child was listed in the Walker Genealogy by E. S. White but not named. This child married E. C. Jennings of Detroit and had children.

ROSS, William C. -- I am looking for the brothers and motheršs information. They settled near Fargo, sometime in the late 1850 to 1860s. William's father was Robert ROSS, who died in Ontario shortly after arriving from Scotland. William was born in 1853, and died in 1931, I believe, while still in St. Clair county.

July 14, 1861; Richard BAIRD LOW, (My Great Grandfather) b. May 1,1864; Grace Elizabeth LOW, b. December 12, 1865; Susan WESBROOK LOW, b.August 27, 1868; Gorden CAMPBELL LOW, b. August 25,1870, d. Looking for death/burials of Edward GILL, born 1867 in GLS England, and his wife Rosina. In 1910 & 1920 census they were living on Drummond Rd at or near Avoca. Edward was a minister (Methodist?), and a farmer. Children Clayton, Laura and Wilbur. There is a Greenwood Cemetery listed for Avoca.

I am looking for ancestors of Alfred Burnie ACKERMAN (b.1886 d.1945) and wife Mary V. NICHOL (b.1886 d.1918). Alfred was born in St. Thomas, Canada and he married Mary V. NICHOL, also from Canada. Both passed away in Port Huron, Michigan. His father and mother were George Lewis ACKERMAN and Sarah Esther WICKS. Her father and mother were William R. NICHOL and Sarah POTTERFIELD. They lived in St. Thomas Canada and passed away in Port Huron, Michigan.

Their daughter, Susan PETIPRIN my gr-grandmother, married August ROMAIN on February 2, 1875 in Anchorville, MI. All 3 families believed to be from Anchorville, MI.

I am looking for information on the OUIMETT family of Port Huron, MI. The name may have also been spelled QUIMETT, I am having a difficult time clarifying the spelling. John OUIMETT b. 1847 d. Aug. 9, 1901 and unkown spouse had three children: Jessie, William, and Mary. Jessie married William TEEPLE and had 3 children, John William TEEPLE, Harold TEEPLE, and Jessie TEEPLE. I have no information on William OUIMETT. Mary OUIMETT married Edward J. YOUNGS. She died November 28, 1925.
