Hector and Jane (JUDSON) MACDONALD were married May 23, 1840 in St.Clair Co. They were both from Wilkesporte, Lambton Co., Ontario. Their children were: 1) Nathaniel b 1842 in Wilkesporte, he married Josephine SHAW b 1853. The only child I have for them is Harriett, b May 1870 in Ontario 2)Alexander Ralph b 1843 in Wilkesporte, he married Sarah Jane CAMERON in 1866 in Wilkesporte? They had 12 children. Between 1891 and 1907 they pretty well all moved to British Columbia 3) Christina b 1845 in Wilkesporte, m James WILSON, February 23,1864 in St. Clair Co. 4) Ann b 1849 in Wilkesporte 5)George b 1852 in Wilkesporte m Melissa J. Their children were Hugh S. b 1883, Amie J. b 1884, Lucie M. b 1886, Nathan b 1887, and Josephine b 1889 all in and around Sombra, Ontario 6)Hugh b August 20, 1856 in Wilkesporte m Florence. Their children were Pearl E. b February 14, 1887, Mary b April 30, 1890, Nathan T. b April 27, 1892 in St. Clair Co.? he died March 1973 in Marysville, St. Clair Co., and Daphane b April 7, 1893 Hector and Jane MACDONALD's families were part of Lord Simcoe's Baldoon settlement in the early 1800's. They are also to the MacDonalds of the famous "Baldoon Mystery" which happened around 1820, in the Baldoon settlement I have been told most of this family ended up in St. Clair and it's surrounding Counties.

GEROR, Peter John; Goodall, St. Clair, Michigan; b-23 Aug 1880; d-17 Oct 1949. Married: BRABB, Violet on 19 Nov 1910. Looking for my maternal grandfather's parents: GEROR, Max & SUNDAY, Christine. The only thing I know about them is that he was perhaps born in France and she was born in Germany. I'm very in- terested in contacting any GEROR family members out there.

Seeking information on Asa EDGECOMB, born 1804. Married Margaret SEVERSON in 1820 at Middleburgh, NY. Son Silas EDGECOMB born 1826. Margaret dies. Asa EDGECOMB migrates to St.Clair County by 1840. He marries Susan Marie NEWELL (1808-1884) in Belle River, St.Clair Co., MI. Children born in St.Clair Co.: Mary EDGECOME b. 1830; Harriet Marie EDGECOME b.1832; Roswell EDGECOMB b. 1833; Susan EDGECOMB b. 1836; James EDGECOMB b.1838; Amanda EDGECOMB b.1848; Willard EDGECOMB b. ---; Catherine Jane EDGECOMB b.-----. ALLEN, William and ALLEN, Madeline I am looking for information about William Allen and his wife Madeline who are listed in the 1850 census in Port Huron, MI. They had children Emeline, Loucinda, Amelia and Almira (my great grandmother). The census stated that William was born in NY and Madeline was born in Canada. My grandmother had indicated that she was related to Ethan Allen but in a search of Ethan Allen's genealogy we have been unable to locate a William Allen and we do not know what the relationship was. It was also rumored in the family that William was murdered in his front yard sometime during the Civil War. I am interested in contacting anyone who may know of this family.

I am looking for James BAILEY, born in Canada, he had a 3 daughters; Sarah, Rosanna, &Therisa, and a son William Henderson. William H. married Edna they had 3 children; Mary, Therisa and Ralph. William married Ella MARTIN after Edna died. James BAILEY born abt 1797? William Henderson BAILEY born May 17, 1846 in Bayham, Ontario, Canada. Ella MARTIN was the daughter of Elam MARTIN, of Blenheim, Ontario, Canada.

Gertrude's father Thomas may have been ship captain on Great Lakes. Little known of Grandfather parents side. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

WILLOUGHBY, Drury F b c 1807 and Lavina (WILLOUGHBY) CARLETON, b. 31 Jan 1808 were both b in New Hampshire, and both living in St Clair, she with her husbands family and Drury nearby. I don't know if they are brother and sister, but I suspect they are. They came from Grafton, Haverhill, NH and ended up in St Clair. Does any one have more data on them? Lavina was the wife of William Hutchins CARLETON.

Hon Moses F CARLETON, son of William Hutchins CARLETON, was said to have been an avid genealogist in the 1880's he is said to have had much sucess on his lineage, yet to this day I can't find a record of his work. Does anyone know what became of it? It shold be copied and put in the Mich Archives, or Salt Lake City. His mother was Lavina (WILLOUGHBY) Carleton b 1808 in New Hampshire, but her parents are a mystery to me.

Looking for information on Benjamin (b)1 Jan.1820 and Sarah E. WIDDIFIELD (b)5 Feb.1824 VANLUVEN. also information on George and Mary Gray SEARLE. I believe Mary is buried in or around Ruby, St. Clair Co. MI. They had one son who livied in St. Clair Co. and his name was George William SEARLE (b) 10 Jun. 1847 married 11 Jul 1868 to Elizabeth T. VANLUVEn (b) 21 Sept. 1849 They had 10 children all born in that area. Would love to hear from anyone who may be a descendent of the above people.

WRIGHT, Thomas R. born 1846 in St. George, Ontario, Canada came to St. Clair County when a small boy with his parents, Benjamin W. WRIGHT and Mary WHITTAKER WRIGHT where he lived until his mother died in 1860. After that time his father and 7 children moved to near Ann Arbor. Any information will be appreciated.

I am looking for family of Lincoln WATSON, born April 14, 1908. Lincoln WATSON died June 1966, and according to SSDI, he lived in Marysville St Clair Co., MI. I wonder if there is a connection here to a Walter C. WATSON or a Seth H WATSON. Lincoln may have had a sister Catherine. They are shown in a picture taken in front of my gr gr grandparents, Jonathan and Ruth ATEN's home on Upton Street, in Port Huron, when they were children.

I am looking for any information on Abel J. HUBBELL/HUBBLE whom died in 1859 in St. Clair County. He is supposed to be buried in Williams Cemetery (location unknown). His second marriage was to Ann (REDDICK) GOFFIELD/GAFFIELD. His children are listed as: David, Samuel, Phebe Ann, Loretta, Nathan, Philander Smith, Laura, Rebecca, Nancy, Reddick, Hiram, Polly, and Dianthe. The family connection I am working on is of son David.
