Clare County Cleaver - 11 November 1999
Gerrard John Czczesny, 46, of Harrison, passed away Tuesday, November 2,
1999
at Mid-Michigan Regional Medical Facility, Midland, Michigan.  Gerrard
was born March l, 1953 in Wyandotte, Michigan, the son of Sigmond C. and
Patricia A. (Brusseau) Szczesny.  Mr. Szczesny had resided in Harrison
area since 1975, moving from Riverview.  He was united in marriage to
the former Violet M. Maddox on December 18, 1990, in Harrison.

Surviving are his wife, Violet of Harrison, his mother, Patricia
Szczesny also of Harrison, a son, Joseph Ware and wife Penny of Reed
City; two daughters, Lisa Drinkwine of Harrison and Amy Ware of
Roscommon, nine grandchildren, a sister, Dianne Delpier and husband
Dennis of Roseville, a niece and nephew, Ashley and Dennis Delpier also
of Roseville, plus other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in
death by his father, Sigmond Szczesny in 1995.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 3, 1999, at 3:00
p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Rev. Father Jerome
Niedermier officiating.  Iniurnment was in the St. Athanasius Cemetery,
Harrison, Michigan.

Arrangements were entrusted to Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison.
