SHAW, M. MYANDIA
4000 E. Michigan Rd. Dimondale, Formerly of Grand Ledge

Miss Myandia M. Shaw, age 88, of 4000 E. Michigan Rd., Dimondale, Michigan, passed 
away September 1, 1982 at an Eaton county nursing home. Miss Shaw was formerly of 
Grand Ledge.

She was born in Wacousta, Michigan and was a graduate of Grand Ledge 
High School class of 1913 and was a graduate of Boston University, class of 1929. She 
was a retired schoolteacher having taught at the Harpster Rural School on Willow Hwy. 
Grand Ledge. She was a retired librarian for the Christ United Methodist Church in St. 
Petersburg, Florida and returned to the Grand Ledge area 2 years ago. Miss Shaw was a 
member of the First United Methodist Church of Grand Ledge.

Survivors include 1 sister; 3 nephews; 3 nieces; several 
great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, September 3, 1982 at 11:00 a.m. at Peters & Murray 
Funeral Home, Grand Ledge with Rev. Royce R. Robinson of the First United Church of 
Grand Ledge officiating and interment at the Wacousta Cemetery.
