Edward Frank Glaza
June 18, 1881 - August 27, 1956
KINDE – Edward F. Glaza, 75, died unexpectedly Monday in his Kinde home of a 
heart ailment.  Mr. Glaza was born June 18, 1881, in Paris Township.  He and 
Martha Danielski were married July 25, 1904, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 
Parisville.  They observed their fifty-second wedding anniversary this year.  He 
farmed near Ubly until his retirement 15 years ago, and moved to Kinde.  He is 
survived by his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Esther (Edward) Polega, Kinde; three 
sons, Albert and Sylvester Glaza, both of Detroit, Frank Glaza, Bay City; 12 
grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a brother Joseph Glaza, Detroit. 

Remains are in the family home.  Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. 
Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic church, Dwight, wlth.Rev. Henry Podsiad, pastor 
officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Rosary devotions will be 
held at the family home at 8 p.m. Wednesday.  Published Port Huron Times Herald

Notes:  Son of Mateusz (Matthew) and Mary (Lublanski) Glaza.  Married Susanna 
Wrobel October 29, 1900 (Susanna was born October 25, 1882 and died July 1, 1904.  
He had 2 sons with Susanna:  Sylvester and Albert.
