John Helewski
February 15, 1881 - August 16, 1946
Harbor Beach. August 17 - John Helewski, 65, lifelong resident of Huron County, 
died Friday in Harbor Beach Hospital after a short illness.  Funeral services 
will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic church.   
Rev. James J. Marvin, pastor, will officiate.   Burial will be in Valley 
Cemetery. Ubly.   Mr. Helewski is survived by his widow. Mrs. Mary Helewski: two 
sons. Edward Helewski, Ubly, and Nicholas Helewski, Bad Axe; four daughters. 
Mrs. Frank Rutkowski and Mrs. Agnes Ceweski, both of Ubly; Mrs. Martha Bies and 
Mrs. Anna Stieber, both of Detroit.   29 grandchildren, four brothers, Adam 
Helewski, Ubly, Alex Helewski, Argyle, Ignatz Helewski, Detroit, and Theodore 
Helewski, Rapson, and a sister, Mrs. Clara Palach. Ruth.  He was born February 
15, 1881 in Paris Township.  Published Port Huron Times Herald Saturday August 
17, 1946

Mary Gornney ‘nee Mazure on April 8, 1944 in Harbor Beach.
