Oscar Edward Puvalowski
June 17, 1918 - December 8, 1999
Oscar Edward Puvalowski, 79, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 8, 
1999.  He was born on June 17, 1920, in Harbor Beach to the late Vincent and 
Anna (Rumptz) Puvalowski.  He married Frances Glaza on November 8, 1941, at 
St. Mary's Catholic Church in Parisville.  She survives him.  They were 
married for 58 years.

He is survived by his wife, Frances; one daughter, Noreen Wazny and her 
husband, David, of Caro; two sons, Clarence Puvalowski of Minden City and 
Kenneth Puvalowski and his wife, Ruth Ann, of Minden City; 10 grandchildren, 
Tricia Messing and her husband, Stan, Kelly Grifka, Lori White and her 
husband, David, Amy Puvalowski, Linda Puvalowski, Scott Wazny and his 
fiancee, Nicole Davis, Tiffanee Wazny, Shelly Puvalowski, Sherry Puvalowski 
and Vince Puvalowski; seven great-grandchildren, Jordan Messing, Blake 
Messing, Macy Messing, Cody Grifka, Tyler Grifka, Joshua White and Jenna 
White; one sister, Blanche Cook; one brother, Aloise Puvalowski and his 
wife, Lottie; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by 
his parents, Vincent and Anna Puvalowski; one brother, Raymond Puvalowski; 
two sisters, Lucille Grifka and Regina Puvalowski.

Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11, 
1999, at St. Mary's Catholic Church.  Fr. Charles Hammond will officiate 
with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery.  A wake service will take place at 8 
p.m. today at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly.  Huron Daily
