Ruth E. Allen (Sanborn - Lettimore), of Lake Odessa, age 94, passed away July 
13, 2009 in Ionia.

She was born Feb. 4, 1915 in Detroit. Ruth was a homemaker all her life, 
caring for her family and raising her children. She loved gardening, sewing 
and crocheting.

Surviving are her 2 daughters, Betty Ann Sanborn and Ruth Ann (Terry) 
Lettimore -Joles; 5 sons, Harold Sandborn, Chuck Sanborn, Jerry Sanborn, Bill 
(Edith) Lettimore and Ed (Sharon) Lettimore, and many grandchildren and great-
grandchildren.  Ruth was preceded in death by her 3 husbands.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday with services noon Saturday, July 18, in 
the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. Interment Delta Center 
Cemetery in Lansing. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 
in memory of Ruth.
