Rose Mary Almy, 69, of Portland passed away Aug. 18.  She was born in Portland 
Jan. 8, 1936 the daughter of Engelbert and Pauline (Ames) Lehman.

She was preceded in death by her children, Douglas and twins Donna and Donald; 
parents, sister, Diane Feldpausch; brothers, Ronald and Daniel Lehman.

Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Richard “Dick” Almy; children, Lynn 
(Doug) Baker and Randy (Sherry) Almy; step-children, Richard Almy, Jr. and 
Deborah DePue; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Gary 
(Aletha) Lehman; many special school friends.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Joe Robbe, pastor of Mount Hope Church, 
Portland, Aug. 23 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland.  Interment 
followed at Portland Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the Breslin Breast 
Cancer Center, 401 W. Greenlawn, Lansing, MI 48910.
