JOHN ANDERSON 1929-2016
John Anderson, age 87 of Ionia, MI, passed away on Dec. 12, 2016. He was born on May
30, 1929 in Detroit, MI the son of Hilding and Nellie (Bush) Anderson. John married
Evelyn Spurlock in 1954. She passed away in 2004. John served in the Army during the Korean
War. He enjoyed farming all his life.

John is survived by his son, Randy (Debra) Anderson of Ionia, MI and Granddaughter,
Barbara Anderson of Grand Rapids, MI. He is preceded in death by his parents, his
wife, Evelyn, brothers; Albert and Jerry and sister, Marian.

Funeral services will beheld on Saturday Dec. 17, at 11 a.m. at Zion Methodist
Church with Pastor Cliff Allen officiating. Visitations will be Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at
the Lake funeral Home in Ionia. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Hospice of
