Clarence Arnie Dies at Florida

Clarence Arnie, 65, of Woodland passed away suddenly while vacationing in Fort 
Meyers, Florida, Thursday, March 4.

He was born Mary 10, 1910 in Ionia County, son of Nicholas and Nellie Arnie and 
was a graduate of the Lake Odessa High School with the class of 1929.

He lived in Lake Odessa until moving to Woodland in 1937. He married Virginia 
Faul, February 1, 1937.

Mr. Arnie was employed by the Hastings Manufacturing Company most of his life 
and retired in March of 1975.

He was a member of the Woodland Lions Club and was a Scoutmaster of the Boy 
Scouts. 

Surviving are his wife, two sons; Jack of Cadillac and Gordon of Woodland; three 
grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Lyle (Hazel) Lacy of Galena, Ill.

Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 at the Pickens Koops Funeral Chapel at 
Lake Odessa.

Rev. Randall Metz officiated with burial in the Woodland Memorial Park.
