G. Bailey, passed away Sunday April 21 at the Barnes Convalescent Home where she had been cared for since March. Her residence was at 303 W. State St., and she had lived in this city for 43 years. Mrs. Bailey, the former Nellie Murray, was born January 3, 1870, and was married to Charles Bailey at Carson City, October 9, 1804. She came here with her family from Ludington. She was an employee of The Banner News for many years previous to 1920. She was a member of the Congregational church in Carson City and a member of the Blue Star Mothers in this city. Survivors are her husband and six sons: Ray Clark; Detroit; Clarence Bailey, Wadsworth, O.; Donald Bailey, Sault Ste. Marie; Fred Bailey, Greenville; Bert Bailey, Douglas, Ariz., and Edward; and one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Dana) Vachon, Akron, O.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 1:30 at the Ellis Funeral Home and burial was in Otisco cemetery. Pall bearers were her grandsons: James Bailey, Jack Bailey, Donald Lund, Earl Clark, Richard Bailey and Robert Bailey.
