Mr. Lura Baird Dies at Age of 67

Mrs. Lura Ann McNaughton Baird 67, former resident, passed away at a 
convalescent home in Lansing Wednesday. She was born June 17 1883, on a farm 
about five and one-half miles west of here, but had resided in Lansing about 
seventeen years. She was a member of the Brethren church in Lansing.

Surviving are six sons, Harold of Perry, Clair, Arlo and Basil of Lansing, Rex 
of Battle Creek and Erwin of Kansas City,MO., a daughter Mrs.Vida Miller of 
Lansing, a sister Mrs.Lettie Hulliberger of Lake Odessa, two brothers Warren 
Stadel of Charlotte and Shirley Stadel of Mulliken, 17 grandchildren and 1 
great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Home Saturday at 11 
a.m. and at the Central Mthodist Church a 2 p.m. with burial in Lakeside 
cemetery. Rev. J.C. Dodson of Lansing and Rev.Lee Jenkins of the Grace Brethren 
church, Lake Odessa, officiated.
