Mrs. Baker was born January 25, 1921, in Barry County, the daughter of Harvey John and Doris Norene (Fisk) Trick. On December 3, 1938, she married Charles E. Baker and he preceded her in death on October 9, 2003. For over 50 years, they lived and farmed near Hickory Corners, and were members of the Kalamazoo County Farm Bureau and the Michigan RV Club. Mrs. Baker enjoyed the outdoors, especially flower gardening and she loved country music. She is survived by a son, Harvey Scott (Catherine) Baker of Holbrook, AZ; a daughter, Carol Ann (Robert) Wolbers of Saranac; a sister, Linda (Rollie) Ferris of Delton; seven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Gordon and Shirley Trick. Funeral services were conducted at Williams-Gores Funeral Home, Delton on Saturday, July 9, 2005 with Pastor Jeff Worden officiating. interment East Hickory Corners Cemetery.
