Ionia Daily Standard, 10 Mar 1904

Mrs. Adeline Benedict died at her home in Orange township Saturday morning, aged 
76 years.  There are some most unusual facts connected with the life of 
deceased.  She was married at the age of 15 years, and she was but sixteen years 
older than her oldest child.  She was also one of the very earliest pioneers of 
the country.  She was married upon the farm where she died, which she had 
continuously occupied for more than sixty-one years.
