IS RELEASED FROM YEARS OF SUFFERING
Myron S. Bishop, Father of Verne and Charles Bishop, Passed Away Friday, Funeral 
Sunday at Allegan. 

After many months of suffering and with every effort to combat disease, Myron S. 
Bishop passed away at his home in the northeastern part of the village Thursday. 
Mr. Bishop came to this village from Allegan county eleven years ago and has 
been a loyal, respected citizen since. He leave besides his wife, two sons here; 
Verne, who has the milk and ice business, and Charles, who is proprietor of the 
Dairy company, formerly owned by the late G.A. Weed. 

The funeral services were held at the home in Lake Odessa, Sunday morning and at 
the Gordon funeral chapel, Allegan, Sunday afternoon. A large attendance 
witnessed to the esteem to which Mr. Bishop was held among his old friends and 
neighbors. Burial was in the Monteray cemetery, Rev. A.T. Cartland officiated.
