Carson City Gazette, July 1986

Henry P. Bozung, 92, of 313 E. main Street, Hubbardston, MI died Thursday, July
17, 1986 at the Saginaw Veterans Hospital.

A retired carpenter, born near Falisburg in Ionia County on September 7, 1893 to
Peter and Catherine Bozung.  He married Magdalene Domelly on June 9, 1920 in St.
Michaels Cathedral in Chicago.  She preceded him in death in 1942.  A lifetime
resident of Ionia County, he was a member of the American Legion Post 182.

Funeral services were held July 21, at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church
in Hubbardston with Fr. James Bozung officiating.  Burial was in St. John the
Baptist Cemetery.  Arrangements were handled by the Schnepp Funeral Home of
Carson City.

Survivors include 3 daughters: Joan Bozung of St. Johns, Janet Sanborn of
Hubbardston, Bernice Caudy of St. Johns; and 4 sons: Alvin Bozung of
Hubbardston, Eugene Bozung also of Hubbardston, Raymond Bozung of St. Johns and
Fr. James Bozung of Lake Odessa, 24 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
